When a colleague was in danger on a car park ledge, Karla didn’t hesitate. She intervened quickly, alerted security, and helped prevent a potential tragedy. Her courage and care for others exemplify the very best of our incredible business.
Star of Stars management and support - Precious Nnebedum
On his way to work, Precious noticed suspicious behaviour and intervened when a person was being pickpocketed. He confronted the individual and ensured they were held until the police arrived, demonstrating bravery and selflessness before even starting his day.
Exceptional Achievement - George Thynne
George went above and beyond when he came to the rescue of two young children who had boarded a train while their mother was still purchasing tickets. When the train departed without her, George immediately contacted control and advised that he would get off at the next stop with the children, ensuring they were safe until reunited with their mother. His quick thinking, calmness, and dedication in a stressful situation were truly commendable and exemplify exceptional action in the moment.

The PHC women’s team at Doncaster Hitachi consistently tackle one of the most physically demanding roles in operations, performing deep cleans of trains by hand under all conditions. Their dedication ensures compliance, enhances passenger experience, and promotes hygiene and safety. In just six months, Ausra has made her mark by leading a complex contract mobilisation with precision and care.
